HOUSTON RODEO

My mom and dad came to see us! Or came to see Martina McBride and Rascal Flats at the Houston Rodeo and then figured it would be nice to stop by and see us. Houston has this HUGE 2 1/2 week rodeo and livestock show in March every year. Every night there is a concert right after the rodeo and it usually is someone big. Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Rascal Flats, Fergie, Hannah Montana....just a bunch of people. The tickets are only 16 bucks and there really is no such thing as a bad seat because the stage is small and in the middle of the Reliant Stadium so you end up watching the screen anyway. But for 16 bucks to see a rodeo and concert is a pretty good deal. Parking and traffic just suck. Anyway....there is a big carnival outside the Reliant stadium, livestock show in the Reliant center, and horse show in the Reliant Arena. So...tons and tons of walking. We had a good time and can't wait for next year...now that we know where to park and what streets to avoid it will be better.

Of course the Animal Rights clan was outside the stadium

They demonstrated how to milk a cow

Saw some pig races....those are fun.

Kaori experience the sound and smell of cows.

We had a great time with Mom and Dad...gained some weight and found out that I am not pregnant and so now I need to find another reason why am hungry ALL THE TIME!

THANK YOU MOM AND DAD for spoiling us....we miss you and hope to see you again sometime this year. You know it's sad to think my kids only get to see cousins and grandparents once a year....we really need to become millionaires. Anyway...here are some more pictures. Enjoy.
