So today is "Go Texan" Day at school and Kaori was able to dress up as a cowgirl for school rather than the usual polo shirt and khakis/jeans uniform. Of course it had to be a PINK cowgirl. They have been talking about cowboys and cowgirls at school so she was very excited to dress up. I was excited too because she never wants to wear her cowboy boots that I bought last year!
Not sure if it's hormonal or what but lately when I drop her off at school I get a little teary eyed....I just think..."that's my little girl" as she walks herself up to the front door of the school and she always turns around before going in and waves with a big smile.
